“Huh? Who, other than atheists and other heathens, have a problem with St. Paul?”
Protestants. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Perspective_on_Paul
Let’s deal with the myth of white privilege: there is no such thing.
There. That was easy.
Blacks do poorly in schooling because of cultural factors that resist that schooling. To promote the discipline required for children to learn the math, grammar, history and science, it requires a stable family unit with a mother and father. That is not happening in the black culture. Besides, the illegal drug industry makes better income for these kids than a doctor or a scientist. Why study math? Just be able to count cash.
The article and this whole white privilege crapolla ignores the basic facts of life. My “privilege” comes from having been raised in an intact family by a mother who taught me self discipline and concern for others and a father who gave me a strong work ethic and encouraged rational thinking. Other than that, I was raised in a rough town with work in a mine waiting for me to get out of school.
In those days, a black with the same family experience as mine could not expect to go farther than a black neighborhood middle class. However, it seems many did just that. Today, a black from an intact family, having been taught well at home can go wherever his/her abilities take them. Condi Rice and Allen West are two of many examples. I think that is black privilege.
The Ferguson protesters have to first heal themselves. There is no other shortcut unless, of course, you want to be a gang banger or rap star.
One of the greatest threats to this nation is white fools, such as the author of this nonsensical article.
That there is the real truth of it!
Well that was to the point and very true.
Progressive liberal guilty white folk and thier propaganda, the scumedia, the racebaiters, the despicable politicians, black “candyman” plantation owners and the generational leeches
..................An insidious virus thats eating America from within
there I fixed it, dont feel guilty for doing the right thing. We have a black president now and nothing has been done to help these pooooor black people, whats it gonna take? more money havent we paid enough? Their problems lies within thier households and thier community but they feel better blaming us for having white privledge. I see more prominent high paying black proffesionals now adays then ever before whats wrong with them? Enough already!
I am absolutely delighted that I’m white because both of my parents were white and they were really nice people.
I have mixed race grand children who are delighted that they are mixed race because their parent are delightful people too.
I am sooooo sick of race talk. There is so much of it it’s becoming like background noise that you don’t really hear.
.
You’re probably white, so that’s why you can’t see the invisible white privilege that permeates society. Don’t try confusing the issue with facts like Asians generally doing better than whites. You’re afflicted with white privilege blindness. Don’t trust your own lying eyes. Take it on faith that you’re privileged. /s
I have been drained of any vestige of white guilt. The OJ Trial was probably the last straw.
Yes, the cop could be descended from someone who sold Africans (of another tribe) to slave dealers and later was enslaved himself...or he could have white ancestors who were slaveowners (as Obama does).
Another LIbtard barforama.
Mr. Obama has slaveholders, slave traders, slave catchers and probably slave ship crew on both sides of his family tree, I believe.
“The black cop in Salt Lake City who shot and killed Dillon Taylor, an unarmed 20-year-old white man walking out of a 7-11 store,”
I never even heard of this———I wonder why.
.
Want to see some really nice European and Asian luxury cars and SUVs? Go to any Korean area here in Dallas/Ft Worth. Looking for Pontiacs or Dodges? Probably out of luck.
No, are you serious Mr. O’Hehir? Because you don't even know what Grace is (in the Biblical sense) one cannot work their way to a “state of Grace” and the idea of
‘white privilege’ is both insulting, silly and wrong.
Now I know why Olson Johnson said, “But we don’t want the Irish.”
