A UK poster on FR complained that the “Mohammad” report was untrue. ‘twould be good to know what’s really happening.

In 2013 the most popular boy's name was Oliver, followed by Jack, Charlie, Harry and Oscar. Mohammed was 28th, it was only ever briefly top in London, not the country as a whole.

When you remember that firstborn sons in muslim families are always so named, whereas non-Muslims have an infinite number of names to choose from, that will also obviously make Mohammed seem more prominent than it actually is.

I stand corrected and apologize for the error.

Curious how the “Mohammad” name story got legs on this side of the pond.
