I have a similar experience with a class act of an individual, graduated from one of our best colleges, who I considered a good friend. It turns out that he’s got the same warped sense of loyalty to the Palestinians, is very sensitive to the mocking of people who blow themselves up while practicing to be suicide bombers, and is a big CAIR supporter.
This explains why you don’t see these massive denunciations from Muslims on Facebook saying “not in my name”! It would be the first thing I would do if someone was making a bad name for my faith by performing horrible inhuman acts in the name of Jesus Christ!
