There’s Very Little in the Michael Brown Shooting Incident Report
Time ^ | 8/22/14 | Alex Altman

Nearly two weeks after Michael Brown’s death, a police report on the shooting has finally been made public. But the glaring lack of detail is likely to increase widespread criticism that the law-enforcement community is closing ranks around Darren Wilson, the officer who fatally shot Brown on Aug. 9. The incident report, filed by the St. Louis County police department, contains no new information on the encounter between Brown and Wilson. There are no written details about the event. As a result, the officer’s account of what transpired when the two men met just after noon on Aug. 9 remains a mystery.

Hopefully this pic is appended to the report.

I think this is normal. It’s when a case becomes a national media circus, and some witnesses start talking, that it seems every little bit of evidence should be released to satisfy everyone’s desire to know more. It’s certainly not normal to release evidence bit by bit while an investigation is ongoing.

Er, Time, but for you and the rest of the media blowing the whole thing out of proportion, there actually wasn't that much to say. Hothead attacks cop, gets shot. Happens every day, somewhere. It's only when people like you, Time, elevate it into an international incident for the sake of your agenda that people start seeking more "understanding."

It’s an official account of what happened and is part of the evidence. At some point, be it when the Feds charge him with Civil Rights violations or in court for the wrongful death suit that Brown’s family is sure to file, the lack of a comprehensive police report may come back to bite him.

And naturally the left is screeching about impropriety over the Ferguson PD handing the report off to the county.

I guess when you have an administration that regularly investigates itself, it seems kind of funny that someone doesn’t.

Did Wilson’s police car/truck have a dash-cam? I haven’t heard any mention of one.

Police “incident” reports are bare bones for very good reasons.

In my LEO experience, the responding officers report of a ‘homicide’ would have names of persons involved, a list of other officers on scene and a two or three sentence narrative.

The detectives follow up reports and witness interviews are what build a case.

TIME is merely engaging in obfuscation for the ill-informed.

BTW, I can’t wait for Holder’s umpteenth autopsy to come out and declare Brown’s death a “HOMICIDE”. That should be good for two or three more Days of Rage.

Who, what, where, when and why. And then you go through and question multiple people about those questions and try to piece together a factual story.

That's if you believe the Feds (Obama Administration) even care about the facts. You give them way too much credit. This whole exercise is to inflame the "masses" in the interest of the agenda. It's not about truth or justice. Never has been.

That's because the Ferguson police department immediately turned the case over to the St. Louis County police department to avoid being in the position of investigating themselves.

http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/michael-brown-shooting/michael-brown-shooting-why-ferguson-police-never-filed-incident-report-n186431

The St. Louis County incident report isn't coming out until they have all the facts straight.

But you can't expect Slime to let the facts get in the way of the demagoguery.

And, don't forget, he not only grabbed Brown, but he kept pulling him into the patrol car. Uh-huh. Riiiight. ;-)

No. It has been reported the department obtained grant money to install them but haven’t done it.

I have suspicion that there is no report because he was taken to the hospital to have his face fixed up after the facial Mr Brown applied. One report I read had his supervisor taking him in and reporting that officer Wilson was dazed during his debriefing. Myself, I'd have an awful time trying to write with one half of my face bandaged up. When I got my eye injured in the army they made me wear an eye patch on my GOOD eye to keep the bad from moving. I couldn't do anything without help for two weeks! He's probably going through much the same thing.

Don’t worry...TIME will be right on the case of that white kid in SLC being shot by a black cop. TIME will for sure be questioning the motives of the black cop. (snicker)
