Once upon a time, journalism meant something. But that was before I was born.

Now, it’s just pure propaganda to manipulate stupid people.

From near the beginning of ‘journalism’ it had aspects of pure propaganda and manipulation of ignorant people.

In the United States we saw that in the run-up to the Revolutionary war, the Civil War, the Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet-Nam, And so forth. The media has ALWAYS engaged in Propaganda.

William Randolf Hearst was probably the most honest about it in his newspapers manipulation of ‘facts’ and stories in the Spanish American War. Walter Cronkite was heard to say many times as the ‘Lead Anchor’... “If it BLEEDS, it leads!”

True enough -- but once upon a time a newspaper might be called "The Manchester Democrat" -- and it was pure Democrat propaganda for Grover Cleveland, or someone. Meanwhile, "The Peoria Republican" was publishing pure Republican propaganda for Benjamin Harrison.

I can live with that. But today, 99% of all media is pure Obama BS. And (they tell me) the only exception is Fox which (they tell me) is a far right-wing, extremist, dangerous, fascist piece of trash. Personally, I do not watch Fox because I find it too Liberal.

Journalism today cannot even pretend to be well-rounded or representative.
