The country never really warmed up properly this summer.Lake Superior is 20 degrees cooler now than it was a year ago.We’ve had a couple polar vortex invasions of cold air this summer too.This winter may be record cold,we hit-16 degrees last winter-the record here is -23 from 1994.
Its been really hot here in Alabama this week, but this summer has been pretty mild. We had two lovely cool spells. We are definitely headed for a cold winter. My horses are starting to hair up. It’s real early for that. Plus the trees are losing leaves already.
