BTTT.
And I fully agree with everything you just said. And you are spot on, not everyone is willing (or able) to be peaceful. ISIS comes to mind. Sometimes, the enemy needs to be dealt with with force.
But my point, is that we shouldn’t be the ones starting it. It’s one thing to defend against the violence of others.
It’s quite another to go around stirring up the pot, looking to start something first, throwing the first punch, etc.
Using violence as a means to get something accomplished is entirely what I mean, by violence never solves anything. It doesn’t helps your cause, when you are the one acting out in violence against your opponent, first.
LBJ swept everywhere in 1964, not just Dallas.
He even won the Protestant vote, the only democrat win from them except for 1932 and 1936.
19564 was also the last time the democrats won the white vote, coming off the assassination, it was a freak election.
“Where did I ever say Beck had an authority on history? “
Wardaddy may have thought that’s what you meant right here:
“And as someone who has studied a lot of history, read a lot of books and surrounds himself with a lot of conservatives who know a lot about this country and its founding, I give Beck credit and respect for where he stands.”
That’s what I thought you were saying when I first read your post, but perhaps you were referring to yourself as ‘someone’.
If you do read a lot of history, and you consider Beck historically well informed, I’d sure be curious as to what histories you have been reading. Perhaps you’d share some of your favorite authors and titles.
“History has taught that violence is never the answer”
C’mon now- all we have to do is politely explain to ISIL that it is inappropriate to cut peoples’ heads off.
They will soon realize that they have been in error and will join us in a happy chorus of kumbaya.
Your predictions are very funny. And probably right on the mark.
One of those "big announcements" was how he was going to get Janet Napolitano impeached for concealing the truth about that Saudi student being involved in the Boston marathon bombings. He strung that one along for days, then it abruptly disappeared and he pretended it never happened.
Beck is in the middle of a lawsuit filed by the student, Abdulrahman Alharbi, for defamation. According to the WaPo, Beck is likely embroiled in court hearings right now, which would explain his absence.
The Saudi kid can afford to spend millions on lawyers, and it's likely Beck is going to lose. Even if he settles before trial, it's going to cost him large.
I think nature trumps nurture
Its painfully obvious
Churchill said as much too
I still like him.
Things are not as easily defined as folks.here would wish
None of that is Becks issue with Teddy
You are in luck, Rush has a couple new ones out.
