I just took & passed my CCW qualification course. We were taught to aim center of mass. The goal is not to wound or kill or anything other than STOP THE THREAT.

If the instructor had said, “OK, your next five rounds will be aimed where you want to wound your attacker but not kill him”, I would have said “HUH!!?”

I’m not that good a pistol shot (my wife is much much better, using a .45) and I aim center mass both to stop, & to place as many rounds as possible into, the target.

Simple.

- You Betcha!

- I’ll also use a 16lb. sledge, BIC pen, or a 4WD -—

— .38 - .39

- whatever it takes (I do not recall who said that but i sure remember it!)

- What is the crapola about taking chances against crazies & thugs & the sub-human lowlifes?

- We all pick our paths in life and we all should not endanger innocent people - OR TAKE THEIR STUFF!

- They like to piss people off - I tend to consider thugs that Obama & Holder embrace as creeps to avoid &/or deal with in whatever method necessary - i do not need 150 Secret Service Agents to protect me - esp. the many affirmative action drunks and bums currently doing “golfer” duty -

- be good - or else -

...everybody keeps saying that...the threat is stopped when the perp is either killed or wounded by the ammo you’ve discharged...is there way to stop the threat when a fired gun is involved other than shooting to wound or kill...?
