- recall the bank robbery in California - police using PC handguns - thugs with Ak47s and heavy class 4 armor - LE had to go to gun shops and borrow deer rifles
I remember when a few large American police dept.’s tried to get 9mm handguns and retire the good old revolver. Politicians screaming that giving cops 9mm’s would essentially give the cops a green light to shoot minorities. The same with Tazer’s. Some large departments wouldn’t issue Tazers to road cops.
