Yup. They simply weren’t interested in the facts of the case, so they ignored them as they trickled out.
Zimmerman’s acquittal was not a demonstration that evidence beyond a reasonable doubt simply did not exist, in their minds. Rather, it simply reinforced their foundational belief that American justice is inherently biased against blacks, and in favor of Hispanics.
