Only if you retroactively define the likes of democrat and Grand Klegle Robert Byrd and his KKK buries as right wing.

Only if you re-define Nazism (National SOCIALISM) as right wing.

Only if you think the neo-pagen state religion of Nazi Germany, with it’s symbol of a broken and twisted cross is Christian.

Then, if you happen to have a big enough axe to grind, you can claim it was right wing Christians, I suppose

Lipstadt plays an interesting game of moral equivalency; by establishing the false premise that Nazi (by any other euphemism) anti-Semitism was conservative in origin, it takes the sting out of having to admit the obvious fact that all subsequent anti-Jewish sentiments come from the left.

This fiction is vital to liberal Jews. Without it, they'd have to admit the real basis for they're support of the left.

The very points I would have made!

There was certainly Christian anti-Semitism in Europe, but that was not the key point of anti-Semitism in the 1930s, it wasn’t the “root” of so-called scientific, race-based anti-Semitism, AND attributing it to “the right” is meaningless in the context.
