Either he thinks that the voters are completely stupid or hes even more senile than Thad Cochran.I used to think that a 51 -49 split in Reid's favor would have been great, just to gum up the works, nah, he already has. But... My worse case scenario now is we will end up 50 / 50 and some Jack Wagon on our side will revisit the 50 / 50 power-sharing split and we will be back to that nightmare again.
BTW, I don't think Thad or Mitch pull it out and we get a new Majority Leader and watch it be someone who believes in "comity" like Linsey or Johnny.... Uggh, then it will be 2 more years of an even more absurd Goat Rodeo...

If it ends up 50-50, then Angus King can ask for a blank check from the Pubbies. If it’s 51-49 or more, King can pound sand IMO.

Oh, how I hope you are right about that. But, don't count on Lindsey Graham getting reelected just yet. He has a Dem opponent; yes, but, the Independent candidate is young, handsome, well-known, has a lot of money and he hates Lindsey Graham. He is giving Graham a run for his money. He will prolly help the Dem get elected by pulling votes from Graham, but, like I say: Don't count on Graham getting reelected just yet.
