The BATF calls ‘em Prohibited Persons, and all ongoing possession of existing firearms is disallowed. It’s TPO people, Restraining Order people, DV accusees, Felon accusees....
Is this a Texas thing with the BATF?
I was accused of all sorts of things during my divorce (from drug dealing to spousal abuse to terror-istic threats) and never once did my concealed carry get suspended or otherwise come into question. I’m scratching my head over this as it just do not make sense. Cart before the horse type thing.
/I was innocent of everything I might add; just to keep my good screen name clean. ;)
Yep.
I have a friend who lost his rights under a DV accusation.
He went to court, proved she was a liar and it cost him $30,000 to get his case expunged and then a few more dollars.
He is going after her civilly.
