Wow, I didn’t think a simple indictment would do that. I thought it had to be a felony conviction. Damn.

I recall G. Gordon Liddy mentioning once that he could no longer buy or own a gun.
But he then said his wife had a large arsenal. :^)

"Perry, while under indictment, cant buy guns or ammo from a licensed dealer or from an individual. And he cant accept guns or ammo as gifts. And it doesn't stop there. Even after the charges are dismissed or he's found "Not Guilty," he'll never again be able to instantly pass a NICS background check. As it will take several days (or many more) after a NICS check is submitted to receive a clearance for purchase, he'll never again be able to "instantly" purchase a firearm.

He is innocent until proven guilty and therefore he should be able to carry.
I think most convicted felons should be able to carry as long as they have served their sentence. The violent felons are a different lot.

"But Mrs. Liddy has a very extensive firearms collection."
G. Gordon Liddy, explaining to a caller how he could be such an avid gun collector while at the same time being a convicted felon.

I have one question. How do we go after Lehmberg and get her stupid, drunken, leftist @ss fired? We need to show these Democrat partisan hacks that they can no longer get away with this BS.
Suggestions?

Governor Perry needs to ask for change of venue to my county. He'd be a hero once it's over. The ugly, lying, drunken, lezbo, spitting at LEO, liberal witch would be tarred and feathered too.
Liberal Democrats (all of them) are disgusting POS'.

Gov. Perry stripped of his right to conceal carry and buy ammo Don't be silly.
He's the governor.
He absolutely has the legal power to pardon anyone he chooses, with no explanation whatsoever.
The drunk witch sort of forgot that part of the state law.
