Vanity: If radical Islam is a cancer, what is the carcinogen?

The murder of American reporter James Foley, by an apparently British IS Jihadist brings up a question: If Radical Islam is a cancer on the world, what is the carcinogen? What causes this level of radicalism to foment and metastasize?
Until this question can be accurately answered, we will not stop it. It has continued to grow faster than we can "cut it out", it has continued to come back even when we excise it, and and will continue to grow faster than we can cut it out.

BAM! I was comparing the teachings of the Koran and the Bible the other night. They are diametrically different in every way except for some of the history which was obviously borrowed from the Bible. the Koran teaches deception, lying, hating, murdering, enslaving, etc...while the Bible teaches love, forgiveness, liberty, truth, etc..it’s very obvious the books were written by different authors. It only leads to one conclusion. If the bible was written by a God then the Koran was written by Satan or as he’s called by Mohammed, Allah.
