Executioner 'with a British accent' beheads US journalist in the name of ISIS

A shocking video has emerged showing an ISIS militant who speaks with a British accent brutally executing an American photojournalist who was kidnapped in Syria two years ago.

Graphic footage of the execution appeared in an video titled: 'A Message to the U.S.', in which an apparently coerced James Wright Foley, 40, describes America as his true killers for using airstrikes to assist Kurdish forces in recapturing the Mosul Dam from ISIS militants.

Foley - who went missing in 2012 while working for the Global Post news agency in Syria - is then beheaded with a small knife over a period of seven minutes by a masked man dressed all in black.

The executioner, who speaks directly to the camera in what appears to be a London accent, then warns that a second captured American journalist will be killed if the U.S. doesn't halt the airstrikes.

“...a London accent...”

See, they are getting a bit more specific there.

I don’t know if this is going to matter. I keep thinking that this thing or that will make us get serious about ridding the world of Jihad and Jihadis, but so far, we remain s.t.u.p.i.d.

There is less outrage about this diabolical act than there is about a criminal meeting his fate in Ferguson.

Nothing makes sense. It’s almost like we’ve accepted the insanity of jihadists and have shrugged our shoulders.

That the apparent murderer of James Foley spoke with a British accent was not, according to Philip Hammond [Foreign Secretary] this morning, a surprise

I'll tell you why there's no outrage here.

Any American journalist who takes an assignment in a sh!t-hole like Iraq or Syria is out of his mind. This guy was captured back in 2012, and I'll bet most people who are outraged over this didn't even hear about his disappearance in the first place.

“It’s almost like we’ve accepted the insanity of jihadists and have shrugged our shoulders.”

It could be Americans are spooked by the brutality of those beasts and fear the reprisals for speaking out.

Well Judy, maybe its because our ‘outrage meter’ has timed out.

Every few days, our President and his ilk gin up yet one more outrage for the viewing pleasure of America’s citizens.

We, by necessity, must choose our battles.

Right now we’re burning the phone lines and standing in the streets trying to close our southern border, and also prevent Obama from inviting millions of illegals into our home with his EO.

We are weary of outrages.

Why would a guy, knowing he's about ready to die, just kneel there quietly and let it happen ?

I'll never forget that clip from years ago, of an Italian guy (journo ?) that ripped off his mask or whatever and said something like "THIS is how an Italian dies"

I agree.

It is mind-boggling how the disasters unfold, one right after the other. A person has to tentatively forget about one to move onto the next.

This president has caused us to forget more scandals than any other president has even had to deal with.

When I recall how the world was supposed to all get along once the amazing obama was president, it makes me laugh. I wonder if those oceans have receded yet.

Yep, the world is upside down and backwards. A police officer shooting a man who assaulted him creates a riot in this country, but our citizen is murdered in another country and doesn’t even spark much comment. Hey Holder—why don’t you send the FBI over there to get to the bottom of things?
