FERGUSON, MO (RNN) - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon made his boldest statement in the shooting death of an unarmed black man on Tuesday, saying a "vigorous prosecution must now be pursued." MORE Man killed in officer-involved shooting near Ferguson

In the statement, Nixon said,"The democratically elected St. Louis County prosecutor and the Attorney General of the United States, each have a job to do. Their obligation to achieve justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown must be carried out thoroughly, promptly, and correctly; and I call upon them to meet those expectations."

Nixon said the calming of tensions in Ferguson, MO and the resolution of Brown's death is what's now needed the most.

"So I ask that we continue to stand together as we work to achieve justice for Michael Brown, restore hope and peace to the streets of Ferguson, and march together toward a future of greater opportunity and understanding for all of us,” Nixon said.

This is like Lord Kitchener and Breaker Morant.

A sham trial and conviction to appease the animals.

It was said on Fox that the governor had had phone conversations with Holder and/or Obama (not postive which), and also that he was Missiouri’s AG for sixteen years (maybe they meant a prosecutor and AG for a combined sixteen years.)

But it sounds like he’s been talking with, maybe even coordinting with the Obama administration. And all those years as a prosecutor or AG don’t seem to have given him any appreciation of evidence gathering and the right to a fair trial, including a vigorous defense.

“Just to be on the safe side, I’ll be in my bunker cleaning my guns and packing shells. Life Is Good. ;)”

Good for you. I know nothing about guns so I’ll probably just stuff my face with junk food to ease the pain.

I am 81 years old and have NEVER seen the country in such bad condition. The Cold War actually seems like a day at the beach compared to what is going on now.

I am in my sixties and have seen these riots play out time after time. For fifty years the Democrats have been enabling black radicalism with OUR tax money! These so-called civil rights groups are just race agitators which we pay for.

If only people had stopped voting for Democrats forty years ago what a different country this would be.

Yep! We're a nation with laws. Except for those whose political ambitions might be interrupted! Then, all laws are off the table.

The time to lock and load is near...

What do you suppose TPTB will say when it is discovered that the Brown shooting was a good one?
