Rick Perry is not Tom Delay.

This attempt to destroy him will fail. Has more to do with his backers and political clout than some misfit judge.

Great suggestion from Freeper Jane Long:

If you are a Texas Freeper, please contact your state senator and rep, and request that they initiate/participate in legislation to transfer the so called “public integrity” function form the Travis County DA’s office to the Texas AG, where it belongs.

Oh, if only the reporter would have use one of the synonyms for disheveled in the article. My top two alternatives are “higgledy-piggledy and hugger-mugger.” lol

On the other hand, if there is a benefit to housing the Public Integrity Unit outside of the state government structure, why not transfer the function to the Hood County DA. We're more Republican down here than Travis County is Democrat...

I can't imagine a better promo kick off for his campaign.

If he runs and he handles the debates as he did the last two he was in(he had damaged himself greatly in the first ones as I recall), he will be a formidable candidate.

Yep, he didn’t ax for this, but he is taking full advantage of it. I’m not likely to have Perry as my first choice by any means, but I am enjoying the heck out of this.

However, as someone who is widely considered very youthful for my age, I am insanely jealous of anyone who can look that good at his age. DAMN!

I still like the idea of going in wearing a MADD t-shirt, though.

He's not my first choice either, but he's decent in lots of ways, someone we could get behind if he won, unlike the last two times.

This is looking strangely providential for Perry.

No one disputed that disheveled is a word. You said in post #88 that heveled is a word. That is what is being questioned.
