A video posted by ISIL terrorists in Iraq purports to the show the beheading of an American photojournalist who has been missing since 2012. The group claims the beheading is a message to President Obama to end the American intervention in Iraq.

James Foley is a photojournalist who has worked for several news organizations. According to a website set up in his honor, he went missing while covering the conflict in Syria in 2012.

In the video, they show journalist Steven Joel Soltoff, a journalist who worked for TIME, The National Interest and Media Line. Soltoff seems to have been missing since the middle of last year. He last tweeted on August 3rd, 2013. His Twitter indicates he was in Libya at that time. ISIL claims the Sotloff’s life “depends on Obama’s next decision," specifically if the United States continues attacking their them.

“Lefty loons will still try to equate Christians with these beasts.”

And righty loons will still try to equate our support of secular Syrian opposition groups with support of ISIS. In their mind ‘the US did this’ -and all of the other atrocities of late.

Imagine that, a circle of reasoning where left and right meet at ignorance and lunacy.

Yep. I’m for a fair warning and turning that region to glass.

I’ll give them a good deal on an old Homelite with a 24 inch bar and chain. It will walk through hard Oak like butter.

Greenfield: What is Wrong with ISIS, is What is Wrong with Islam
Sultan Knish blog ^ | Tuesday, August 19, 2014 | Daniel Greenfield

“The religious and ethnic strife in the Middle East out of which ISIS emerged and which has become its brand, goes back over a thousand years. If support for terrorism emerges from radicalization, then the armies of Islam were radicalized in the time of Mohammed and have never been de-radicalized. “

“Terrorism is not reactive. As ISIS has shown us, it has a vision for the future. The Caliphate, like the Reich, is a utopia which can only be created through the mass murder and repression of all those who do not belong. This isn’t a new vision. It’s the founding vision of Islam.

“What is wrong with ISIS is what is wrong with Islam.”

“We can defeat ISIS, but we should remember that its roots are in the hearts of the Sunni Muslims who have supported it. ISIS and Al Qaeda are only symptoms of the larger problem. “
