I wish this were true but you are dealing with the “stop snitching” culture.
It will probably be enough that the original “eyewitnesses” testimony is so damaged that no grand jury will indict, and even if they do, those people will NEVER stand up under scrutiny in court.
They’ve already got recorded statements with the police. Likely on tape.
It happened it too open of an area and too many people saw it - unlike Zimmerman and that just took 2 or 3 to back George’s story for him to be found not guilty.
I don’t think Wilson will even be indicted on state charges.

DOJ will then bow to political pressure and bring Civil Rights charges.
The governor can always appoint a special prosecutor to go after the innocent, like Governor Scott did in appointing Corey to go after Zimmerman.
