A tweet by St. Louis Post-Dispatch crime reporter Christine Byers dropped a bombshell in the ongoing reporting on the shooting of unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer.

“Police sources tell me more than a dozen witnesses have corroborated cop’s version of events in shooting Ferguson.”

I don't think the phrase "IRS audit" causes as much terror in Ferguson as it does elsewhere.

That’s good news.

One thing the Ferguson police can take away from this....

Quit wasting money on military hardware and buy some cameras for your vehicles and officers. It would have been a WHOLE LOT CHEAPER to just purchase cameras for their cars, than the military hardware. Even if they received it for free... to maintain that stuff is extremely expensive compared to Cameras that just about every other police department in the U.S. have in their inventory.

George Zimmerman at liberty is a cause to the left. George Zimmerman dead would be a cause to the right. Officer Darren Wilson dead would be a cause not only to the right, but especially to every police officer in the nation.

Yeah - but according to the Wall St. Journal, they actually had some cameras in inventory, and just hadn’t gone operational yet.

The cost of the cameras is not that big a deal - but the storage/management of all the data they generate is an issue.

Common man what big city police department do you know that does not have cameras in their patrol cars besides this one? Police cameras in patrol cars are as common as CB radios.
