It is interesting how many Army bases are named after Confederate Generals.

Just off hand I can think of several. Fort Hood, Fort A P Hill, Fort Lee, Fort Bragg, Fort Stewart, (Is there a Fort Jackson?).

In South Carolina but it’s named for Andrew Jackson.
