Another eyewitness: Woman comes forward with footage taken immediately after Michael Brown shooting

Via Mediaite, maybe there’s more out there but this is just the second clip I’ve seen of the crime scene and the first that (allegedly) includes footage of Darren Wilson, the cop who fired the shots that killed Brown. That’s him on the right in the clip below according to the eyewitness, Piaget Crenshaw.

Crenshaw’s account of what happened starts at around 3:00. She’s right in line with the other three eyewitnesses on Brown’s general movements: He ran from Wilson initially, Wilson fired at him, then Brown turned back to face him. Crenshaw thinks the shots fired at Brown while he was running away either missed him entirely or grazed him, which corroborates the autopsy report showing no entry wounds from the back. The truly interesting part here is what she says she saw when Wilson first pulled up alongside Brown and Dorian Johnson. Johnson has claimed that Wilson grabbed Brown from inside the vehicle — specifically, he says, he grabbed Brown’s neck, which would seem hard to do to a man who’s 6’4″ from a sitting position. Crenshaw says she too saw Wilson grab Brown, although she doesn’t say where specifically. Wilson then seemed to get “upset,” says Crenshaw, Brown took off, and Wilson took off after him.

Turns out this isn’t the first interview Crenshaw gave about the shooting, though. The first one happened right after Brown was killed; it’s the second clip below. She seems vaguer in the earlier video about what happened in the first few moments between Brown and Wilson. At around 0:30, she says they had some kind of “interaction” but says she didn’t see any sort of chokehold, as another witness had claimed, because she was getting ready for work.

Witnesses will be "found" to condemn police and portray Brown as clearly a victim.

'Fake but accurate' -- like Dan Rather's memo "found" on Pres. Bush.

I think if she ever gets on the witness stand Wilson’s attorney will have a field day with her. She will not hold up on cross examination.

Anyone see the Tool of a Lawyer on Greta representing Big Mike's Thug friend whom was in on the Cigar rip off. He repeated the story his client is telling and it is a laughable joke. Actually it was pathetic, the lies being foisted by this Lawyer, he must have gone to a third world Law School. That is how engaging and articulate this clown was.

Look. I don’t even need to examine this lying witness.

Just MINUTES BEFORE THIS, Brown attacked a much older man half his size AROUND THE NECK in a most aggressive manner while robbing his store. That is all I need to know that this man was capable of violence toward authority.

Not according to FBI agents Roy Hazelwood and Rob Ressler. Roy Hazelwood specifically says in one of his books that the clearest indicator of lying is giving more info after time.
When doing a sketch of a suspect, the person who is lying will start out vague and give more details going on. A truthful witness starts out more direct, and gets more vague from there.

What a garbled mess of an interview. People are looking for clarity. Walk us through what she saw slowly and with maximum detail. He turned around? How? Did he spin around in place or cut back? How close was the officer at this point? Where were Brown’s hands? How did he fall. Can you stand up and demonstrate? CNN is terrible.

She’s got an agenda. I wouldn’t believe a damn thing she says. She’s going to lie.

Yeah, nobody’s asking detailed questions, the distance involved. Also notice in video officer Wilson doesn’t appear to be nursing any face injury. No bleeding it appears.

Here’s my theory and I bet it’s pretty damn close to the truth:

Wilson tells the Brown and Johnson to get the F on the side walk. Brown is stoned and feeling tough having just shoved the store clerk. Wilson is either annoyed by the backtalk or suspicious that these are the robbers from the store. He backs up the truck very close to Brown who is jawing at him through the window still telling him to f#*@ off. Wilson tries to open his car door and it hits Brown who pushes the door shut on Wilson and maybe shoves him. Wilson is stunned that some punk had the balls to do that. Wilson grabs Brown probably by his clothing or arm. There is a rough push/pull grapple between the me and Wilson is struck in the face and goes into full adrenaline mode. Brown too suddenly realizes that his gangsta tough guy routine has gotten him in much deeper than intended. Wilson reaches for his gun threatening to shoot. Brown instinctively grabs the arm holding the gun. It’s shaping up as life and death situation. The gun goes off in the car. Brown breaks off and runs. Wilson goes after him ears ringing—in mind he has been shot at—and probably fires a couple shots that miss. Wilson decides he can’t out run a bullet and doubles back hard (Try doing this from a sprint. You will naturally stumble forward due to your momentum, especially if you are the size of an O-lineman). Maybe he intends to charge Wilson, or maybe he actually does intend to surrender, but in the heat of the moment Wilson views the change in direction back toward him as an attack and unloads. The “arms up” is actually “arms up at the elbows” which lines up with autopsy report we have so far. That is naturally the position your arms will be in if you attempt this movement Once he is struck, Brown continues to carry forward until the last shot hits him in the top of the head.

This hypothesis lines up with what we know so and could easily be interpreted different ways in the minds of witnesses, not to mention Wilson, based on your sympathies.

Well after the incident, being presented with pictures, drawings, recordings, transcripts etc can jog/elicit details not remembered or covered in previous testimony.

it does not jog memory... it makes up memory...

not always true. if you are still in shock from an event you can forget things or not remember them in the right order. that’s why they give cops a couple days off before they take a stateent. good lawyers don’ t let their clients supply a statemnent right away so as not to appear to change their story when in reality they are just remembering it correctly.

My experience says you are both wrong.

I was a witness, as a jump seat rider, to an aircraft accident. I gave what I thought was complete statement to NTSB. Nine months later, while prepping for Fed court testimony, I saw a diagram and transcript that almost made me feel like I was there again. I had read the NTSB conclusions, and was able to conclusively refute them, backed up by two of the three crew members. None of us had recollected the precise moment until reading the transcripts, which made us think "what was I seeing when that statement was made?"

Our testimony saved Delta about $10,000,000.
