Missouris governor on Monday ordered the National Guard to a St. Louis suburb convulsed by protests over the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen, and he reportedly did so without first telling the White House.

Yes, it was like Benghazi. The video made them do it..
Tonight, the autopsy report will do it.
Tomorrow night, the toxicology report will do it.
Gee that’s not fair...
Obama let’s governors know months in advance when he’s going to do something that will effect their states ...like put illegal aliens in their cities etc...
What ???
Oh well
Never mind...
Maybe he has as much trust in the mac daddy administration and the dept. of selective justice led by eric, my people, holder.n
Seems reasonable to me. Then, if things get worse, they are in place and can be sent further.
a governor doesn’t have to inform the WH when they call the national guard in their state.
“If I remember correctly, before there was a Police Force formed in the early 1800s, laws were enforced by the local magistrates and the militia.”
I don’t want to use the popular term for this, but you’re right. Back in the frontier days, in the absence of local law enforcement, community members in some areas were granted the right to enforce common law. There are plenty of statistics but no way of knowing who was guilty and who was innocent.
One of the things that’s really sad is all the decent black people hiding in their homes in that town. I read that they’re afraid to go out (because of the thugs), afraid to go to work, and the schools are closed. But Al and Barrack and the gang don’t care about them, because they’re not politically useful.
He’s talking to dem white folks. No one uses that directed at blacks.
**sigh**

Not sure here, but is the White House supposed to be notified?
why should he? was the president going to do some OTHER useless act?
Nobody seems to have any respect left for those who serve in this administration.
Why on God’s earth would Nixon want to call in the Guard AND end the curfew...No good will come of it..
With the facts coming out increasing cast doubt on what Brown's strong arm robbery co conspirator said said, Nixon is trying to walk the tight rope between keeping the urban voter without doing anything that might might make him look like a fool when the truth comes out thus alienating out-state white voters when he runs for the US senate someday.
He sure is in this instance. He should have advised all to keep calm until all the facts are in. He has stepped in it and so have all the others. Chris Coster (future governor candidate pandered yesterday too.) He is currently the Attorney General and so certainly should have said nothing.
He’d be indicted, like Perry in Texas.
