I've noticed that some freepers have said that in thread replies, but I never read anything to indicate that.
If that were the case, the LEO would have said so during the arrest, but he doesn't.
There is this article in which the McD mgr Keith Eyer talks about the arrest but he says nothing about asking the reporters to leave or calling the police
Reporters were detained and released. It’s hard to find any story without spin. How is the same detained and released reporter being treated by the protestors?

The Washington Posts Wesley Lowery reported on Twitter that one looter just threatened to pull knife on him and another reporter outside a liquor store that was being cleaned of inventory.
POLITICO tried to approach the same liquor store using an iPhone to record the mayhem when we were physically approached by a man who said: Get that police st out of here. This aint no show.
