I don’t know about CEO pay elsewhere, but for US you can Google “Forbes CEO compensation” and the year that interests you. A few years ago you could pull out data by industry, but I think in 2011 they got rid of that pro people feature and by spreading out the information made it harder to photocopy and compare data.

Well, comparing wages around the world is not relative due to cost of living variations. For example, here in the Philippines we (wife, child, and myself) spend about $1000 per month. That pays everything, including rent. In the US, that might get one by on skid row.
