BTW: He didn’t get a fee, but Crump’s paying for his travel. He profits from the publicity and will most likely bill for his civil trial testimony.

Trial Lawyers don't pay their experts until they deliver the goods and win the case.

Crump paid the ME’s travel expenses so the ME could determine if he could deliver the goods.

The ME quickly verified that the narrative that Brown was shot in the back or with his hands up was total BS and that the evidence supported the story from the officers friend and the conversation caught on the youtube tape that Brown attacked the officer, ran away and then turned and bum rushed the officer.

The ME broke the news to Crump and told Crump that he would not waste his time and risk ruining his professional reputation to work with Crump on this one.

That's why he din’t get paid.
