EYEWITNESS: MICHAEL BROWN RAN FROM COP CAR, 'DOUBLED BACK' AND CHARGED AT OFFICERS
Breitbart ^ | August 17, 2014

Posted on 08/17/2014 11:38:49 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

A newly-discovered video taken in the aftermath of Ferguson, Missouri teen Michael Brown's death features a conversation between two bystanders, one whom relays what he witnessed—and he states that Brown fled a police car but then "doubled back" and was charging at officers as they fired at him.

Since Brown's fatal shooting has become a media firestorm, inspiring violent riots and looting in Ferguson, witnesses from both sides of the controversy have given conflicting reports on just what happened. However, this private conversation minutes after the incident seems untainted by any desire to protect or tarnish the reputation of either Brown or the police.

Video and transcript at source.

But that's the point..wait for the facts.. the rioter didn't wait for the facts, Uncle Chip didn't wait for the facts, Rand Paul didn't wait for the facts.

I stayed out of this story because i wanted to wait for facts.... but the assume starting point..random white cop randomly shoots to death random black kid for no reason.. because that what cops do ...

That is not a wait for facts starting point..

That a lynch mob starting point.. and that mob is dismissing any facts that disputes random white cop shoots random black kid for no reason because that what cops do

Agree - but I’m sure there is some concern that if they actually kill or seriously injure someone, they will have larger angry crowds than they can handle showing up to exact revenge.

If the authorities can’t stop the mobs, the mobs will control the streets. Single shopowners defending their turf can’t defeat this by themselves.

I can imagine people in the community might start to embellish what they saw, if they thought it might help put the police officer behind bars.

I understand FBI etc has been going door to door, lots of room for lying.

I hope they can find the 2 that discussed this on the video etc

Scared-don’t blame him. What I don’t get is they are taking the word of a know lier Dorian Johnson.

Attorney: Dorian Johnson confirms he was with Brown at store robbery

Michael Brown’s Friend Describes Shooting Dorian Johnson Eyewitness (FULL)
OH well they pulled it.He said that Michael threw him 3 boxes and nobody called 911-guess that means they stole it.He said Michael would give you your space if you opened the door he would back away.He said Michael never sold no drugs. He said the Police Officer opened the door and hit Michael in the leg so Michael pushed it close. The rest was made up too.Be a man Dorian and tell the truth to Michael’s family and end this here and now.#ferguson is looking for celebrities to join them, may be we can suggest a few.

The robbery video should have been enough for any reasonable person to at least give the officer the benefit of the doubt.

I saw all I needed in the video of the robbery.

People in the community are asking, what do I tell my african american children? Well for starters, dont rob a convenience store, dont push people around and dont be a bullie.

Clearly the officer felt his life was threatened, what I suspected from beginning.

The President, Al Sharpton etc, and majority of the protesters dont give a darn whether or not the cop is innocent.

You and me both, Jim.

But I’m especially praying for the officer and his family...

Of course not. A white person would not be "one of my people," regarding his disregard of the black panthers intimidations at the voting booths that Holder would ignore. How much clearer can you be to telegraph your true agenda? He was definitely trying to make contact with the LoFo's with that abundantly clear blatant, racist comment. Lib media never mentioned it, nor made comment.

We're on the highway to hell! Ferguson is only one of the first stops.

I've watched all of the videos. It appears that he was put in a control hold, briefly and never choked.

Did actions of the officers contribute to his death? No doubt.

Did Garner's actions contribute to his death? Yes.

Did Garner unlawfully resist arrest? Obviously.

Were the actions of the police lawful and according to procedure? That remains to be seen. The ME reports that Garner died from compression of the neck and chest, prone positioning while down, acute bronchial asthma, obesity and hypertension so to say that he was "murdered" by the police with an illegal chokehold is disingenuous at best.

Calling a Chevy Cavalier a Gulfstream is fine if it makes you feel better but it ain't gonna fly.

Well he’s fat, fat, Michael Brown. Deadest man in the whole downtown. Deader than ole Kim Jong..

Afterwards he looked like a hentai movie with the regional scrambler on..

I admit that having personally dealt with twenty years of harassment by law enforcement, until they caught the guy they were looking for, has jaded me towards law enforcement.

However, looking at available info I am inclined to believe that Jabba the Thug got what he was looking for.
He counted on his size to intimidate, control, and overpower.
And he found that it doesn’t always work that way.

Now it remains to be seen what the new “on loan from Eric Holder” medical examiner concocts.
Either way, the subcivilized “protestors” will flip out.
I see nothing good coming from federal involvement.

Obviously, the race pimps stories (and eyewitness accounts) are falling like dominoes...

But in reality, those rioting and looting do not care anyway...

Is anyone here surprised by any of this???

I’m not...

When the next one happens, it will be like Rocky 5...

Where 1, 2 and 3 might have been pretty good, the public is getting tired of the same template and usual suspects rolling out pimping this to the usual dolts, (not folks like us who pay attention) who live and breath to riot, loot and kill in their false outrages...

Just desserts, IMO...

Kinda funny how the “witness” was the man’s friend who was there when the assault in the store took place...

Why is he not being charged as an accessory??? Or at least have that looming over his head like a sledgehammer???

I bet he squeals like a pig, when the process catches up to his arse...

The Dr. Baden report on the wounds says all came from the front. There was no mention of different caliber bullets. If there were two or more officers, I would assume they both/all would have fired trying to stop him. Probably, it is just the way the witness talks.

“...the other cop...”. There was another officer there? There is some confusion as to whether there was, or if it’s just the way the eyewitness spoke.

This transcript is very helpful. I’ve listened to several eyewitnesses videos, and it’s hard to understand them because of their speech, the audio cutting in and out, and people in the background yelling.

Excellent article written by a trauma surgeon:

POLICE MAGAZINE

Stopping Power: Myths, Legends, and Realities

When it comes to claims about the effectiveness of handgun ammo, don’t believe the hype.
January 16, 2013 | by Sydney Vail, MD

As a trauma surgeon and a tactical medical specialist, I am often asked by law enforcement officers what caliber and type of handgun ammunition offers the most stopping power. I can’t answer that question. Let me explain why.

Excerpts...

Now we need to go back a step and define stopping power. Is it the ability of a particular ammunition to:

Immediately incapacitate a threat?
Eventually incapacitate a threat?
Slow down a threat?
Render a person less able to remain a threat?
Knock the threat to the ground?

....

The ultimate stopping power rests with your training with your weapon system. Accurate hits in any reasonable caliber will “stop” a person if that person has experienced enough brain or spinal cord damage to interrupt regular neurologic impulses from reaching vital areas of the body or the person has hemorrhaged enough blood to lower his or her blood pressure where the brain no longer is able to function well. You can also stop a person if a major bone shatters after a bullet injures it, but does that stop the fight?

Brown had robbed a convenience store some 15 minutes prior to his detainment. Naturally a corrupt old media neglected to state this fact.

He doubled back?

He doubled back? DOUBLED BACK?!

Everyone: Think about it. He doubled back.

JUST like he did at the convenience store a little while earlier. Same behavior.

He doubled back on the store clerk, confronting the clerk a SECOND TIME, just as he shortly would do with the police officer.

He exhibited the same behavior.

This kid was no angel. He thrived on confrontation, using his large size to intimidate had already become a modus operandi, a regular way of life for him.
