There’s a lot of data collected over many years and it all supports 85 as the median - which is the 50%ile. Who knows what the cause is.

Those kids who were adopted/raised/educated in loving families and sent to decent schools are as normal as your kid or mine...

Also true - the IQ scores have remained stable for some 100 years. The racial differences are real.
