If they were evenly matched and he had the color of law on his his side, then why is he bringing a gun into the match.

I guess Zimmerman was wrong in your eyes, then for shooting Trayvon. Never mind that Trayvon apparently went for Zimmerman's gun, just like Brown apparently went for the officer's gun. It ceases to be a 'wrestling' match if such happens.

I'll wait to see the coroner's report and for more information to come out before passing judgement here. It would behoove you to do the same.

Zimmerman was at a total disadvantage but this cop was in his own vehicle at the time hopefully with back-up on the way

There is no comparison

Never mind that Trayvon apparently went for Zimmerman's gun

and Zimmerman fired only once and Zimmerman would not have chased Martin down and shot him 8 more times.

One shot was enough to extinguish the threat.

Brown apparently went for the officer's gun and then they wrestled for it -- per his friend.

According to the officer's friend the officer was the one who pulled his gun.

It ceases to be a 'wrestling' match if such happens.

Yep -- the advantage goes to the guy with the gun -- the cop in this case. So now why did he have to shoot him 8 times???

My question is this to the Chief: Why is the officer stopping to hassle two guys in the street when as far as he knows they have nothing to do with anything, and he is supposed to be on his way post haste to 911 emergency call???
