Looters in Ferguson, Mo., were met with little police resistance Friday night and store owners say they were forced to protect their businesses with their own guns, Fox2Now.com reported.

"I think the first message is to remind all law enforcement that they are hired to serve and protect and if they

You store owners don’t understand - seeing police provoked the rioters.

it’s becoming obvious that police are to protect and serve the state. Not the people.

I don’t think the police force will be nearly big enough in a ity with a population of 22,000

If I owned a ghetto store anywhere in America this morning, the thought of relocating it would definitely cross my mind.

Equal protection under the Just Us theory. Until they realized that the facts weren’t relevant the whole thing almost came to a stop.

The community is being punished for having reservations about some police patrolling patterns.

The police are reminding them of “what COULD be”.

When ‘assault weapons’ saved Koreatown

By: Ryan James Girdusky 12/23/2012 06:12 PM

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Los Angeles riots, sparked by the acquittal of four Los Angeles Police Department officers accused of beating the now-deceased Rodney King. During the five days, mobs around Los Angeles looted stores, burnt 3,767 buildings, caused more than $1 billion in property damage, and led to the deaths of more than 50 people and left another 4,000 injured. A story that has been forgotten since then is that of the brave storeowners in Koreatown who fended off mobs with handguns, rifles and assault weapons.

On the second day of the riots, the police had abandoned much of Koreatown. Jay Rhee, a storeowner in the area, stated to The Los Angeles Times, “we have lost faith in the police.”

Democrat Governor Jedediah Nixon took time from his busy schedule of flying a state-owned private jet all around the state for fund-raisers to stop by Ferguson for a few minutes and tell the cops that they needed to understand that people needed to express their emotions. The cops are just allowing people to express their emotions, like Jedediah said.

Weren’t the Ferguson Police relieved of their protection duties due to alleged over-zealous enforcement? Looks like no one took over.

You couln’t pay me enough to be a police officer. Not with this politically correct climate and an incredibly irrational and hostile press.

The answer is to allow the citizenry to arm themselves as they see fit and let them, and their neighbors, protect and serve their own community.

Let the loot. Burn off steam. Show the world what it’s like when the police don’t show up.

It’s a good strategy in terms of media control.

Not good if you own an uninsured business there...

Certainly that seems to be the case. To be a cop in a place like Ferguson, I see a lot of risk, and very little reward. Do I really want to respond to a call about someone shop-lifting from a convenience store?

The triumph of liberalism. The downtrodden looters, whiners, takers, rioters have won a victory.

This is further proof that if the SHTF scenario (even partially) plays out in America, you had better be well-armed and ready for unpleasantness. If you believe the police or any other government group will protect you, your family and your property, you are, at best, naive. This is especially true if you are in or near a urban area full of ferals. Be prepared, Citizen. It appears that ever-growing unpleasantness awaits many...if not all.
