Of course he could be on one call and hear another.
But can he go back in time? That’s what doesn’t make sense. Gotta be something missing somewhere.
See my post above with the timeline of the two calls. Wilson left the scene of the sick call at 12:00:00. The suspect description was sent out at 11:57:47. Wilson encountered Brown at 12:01.
How did he drive past Brown and then hear/read the suspect description? Can they scroll backwards on their laptops to see a history from dispatch? Maybe he read (not heard) the suspect description on his laptop after passing them?
None of that will matter if swabs off the dead thug has traces of GSR from wrestling the officer in the car when one round was fired.
Dude got what he desearved if that is the way it went down.
Beyond that any reasonable person would consider their life in danger when being attacked or bull rushed by someone 6’6” and 300 lbs
I don’t know for a fact this is how it went down, none of us do. But the description and official timeline don’t seem in my mind mutually exclusive.
While on the sick call, the description goes out...
He hears it on his personal radio.11.57
A few minutes later he departs that call. 12.00
A minute later he encountered Brown. 12.01
In the course of that encounter he pulls up, stops, recalls the description, and perhaps even confirms it on his in car computer ... most scroll the log just like posts in the forum... realizes he might have the same guys in sight, backs up to confirm, and the situation devolves quickly into the physical confrontation.
I can’t speak to the righteousness of the trigger pull, but it is starting to sound like the initial stop was probably reasonable. Mr. Brown was likely not hassled for being BIP, at least in my LTHO. This is not quite turning out to be an “execution simply for being a young black man walking down the street” as the media reports tried to paint it.
Description was transmitted at 11:51 or 11:52.
