A Marine veteran says he was denied entry into a Six Flags theme park in New Jersey after being told that the shirt he was wearing would offend people.
Mario Alejandro, 33, had been given the shirt (shown above) for Father's Day and he was attempting to take his family to Six Flags Great Adventure last weekend for a child's birthday party.
Proceeds from the Fourth of July-themed shirt go to the Marine Reconnaissance Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports recon Marines and their families.
Alejandro served four years in the Marines, including at the start of the Iraq war. He is classified as disabled because of hearing loss and PTSD.
Here's more on the outrageous story from NJ.com:

Heck, I’m offended cause it didn’t say “Kill ‘em all, Let God sort it out.”
It probably would offend some people. But:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.” - Samuel Adams
Marines......no decorum at all
Is this the same area in New Jersey where the guy who asked his neighbor to please remove his Jihad flag apologized to the same moderate muslim for insulting him and where all the tweets to the local newspaper article were hateful of anyone not tolerant of the Jihad flag or one that only resembles it, by being all black with Arabic writing on it, hung outside the home where there was no US flag in sight?
That New Jersey?
Where the governor thinks he has a chance at the Republican nomination, and who wont’ weigh in on this?
Gee, and New Jersey seems like such a welcoming place, too. Who would have thunk it.
Personally I don’t care what T-shirt a man who fought for my freedom wears
Totally lol. I want one
Nuke ‘em till they glow! Then shoot ‘em in the dark!
My one and a half year old granddaughter wears a similar shirt and people think it’s cute.
Of course, she lives in TX (that is, TEXAS)
Sounds like the advise I gave my son before he deployed to Iraq in 2003 (first across the line).
Keep your head down, stay calm, let your training kick in and kill the bastards.
I like it.
I need a T-Shirt that reads:
I am not responsible for your hurt feelings!!
Not offended by what it says, but I would not go out in public with my family with that on. To the gym? Sure.
More a style comment. Certainly a liberal, “you cannot say that” comment. Wear whatever you want.
In my view, this is as insulting as when the Vietnam soldiers came home only to be scorned at and spit upon.
My nephew-in-law was the driver in the lead tank into Baghdad.
He has one of the viewing prisms with a bullet hole in it mounted on his wall.
Kill em all, Let God sort it out.
Funny you should say that, since I heard this story on the news I recalled the time I saw a kid at an amusement park (it might have even been 6 flags, but I really can’t remember) who was wearing that exact shirt. He was only about maybe 10 and yeah, it kind of offended me - due to his age. It just seemed an inappropriate shirt for a little boy to be wearing for a fun day out at the park.
Would I have turned him away at the gate? Of course not.
