Marine Vet Denied Entry to Six Flags Over This 'Offensive' Shirt...

A Marine veteran says he was denied entry into a Six Flags theme park in New Jersey after being told that the shirt he was wearing would offend people.

Mario Alejandro, 33, had been given the shirt (shown above) for Father's Day and he was attempting to take his family to Six Flags Great Adventure last weekend for a child's birthday party.

Proceeds from the Fourth of July-themed shirt go to the Marine Reconnaissance Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports recon Marines and their families.

Alejandro served four years in the Marines, including at the start of the Iraq war. He is classified as disabled because of hearing loss and PTSD.

Here's more on the outrageous story from NJ.com:

Add this to the refusal (by the same judge who let Ray Rice off when he knocked his [stupid] girlfriend out) to drop charges against the Pennsylvania conceal-carry mother Shaneen Allen, I can’t think of a good reason to visit or otherwise spend one cent in that state. Let the citizens who keep voting the wacko liberals in continue to pay the exorbitant taxes. And please, Gov. Perry. Don’t lure them down here lest they turn our state wacko left.

(Apologies to all the decent conservatives living behind enemy lines in New Jersey. If you can get it turned around, I’ll retract my words.)

I posted this on another thread, but I take my godson to Great Adventure every summer. I haven’t done yet, but I’ll be schlepping to Dorney Park after reading this.

Great Adventure just lost a customer.

On the Six Flags site for the event:

****Anyone without a bracelet will be asked to leave

I guess they don't want straights seeing their world.

Heck, I’m offended cause it didn’t say “Kill ‘em all, Let God sort it out.”

In the nuclear weapons business we said "Nuke 'em till they glow then shoot 'em in the dark."

What if it had said this?

"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet."

Idiots.

Was your son in the 3rd ID or Marine Armor? If 3rd ID, my son’s unit, 299th MRB, put up the Ribbon bridge for the light armor and trucks to cross the Euphrates River at Hindaya, Objective Peace, April 3rd. Part of the 299th and 54th Combat Engineer Battalion launched an amphibious assault on the east bank of the river, drove out Iraqi defenders (with a lot of great artillery and air support, and had Ordnance men disarm the explosives on the main concrete bridge.

This successful seizure allowed the Abrams tanks to cross over safely and then lead the drive on Baghdad.

Interestingly, the father of a friend of mine in my synagogue was the commander/lead tank of the US 3rd Armor unit that seized the bridge at Remagen during WW2. His name was Brenmen.

I guess we can collectively say, tanks a lot of their bravery.
