“When asked about the police’s timing of releasing the robbery video along with the name of Officer Wilson today, the police chief said he did so because ‘you asked for it’”

Seems to me that if the Chief had ‘offered’ this info to the press right away, then the ‘public’ would be claiming he only did it to prejudice the case against Mike.

They are claiming that that anyway. No matter what the Chief does, they are going to find something wrong with it.

Waiting until the ‘media’ asked seems the most intelligent choice.

Sorry about that.

I’ll just use the words that went along with the picture.

“Do you feel lucky?”

The media never asked for it because they never knew about it.

So when the Chief said: “You asked for it”’ he means it in a different way — an offensive way.

It was a shot across the bow of the media to say “back off” and quit asking for things like the autopsy report, the number of bullets, the shell locations,...

If the police car came up behind them, they wouldn't know they were blocking a police car until the cop yelled at them to get out of the street.

Possibly. I just don't think that some homies who had just committed 'strong arm robbery and assault" would have such poor situational awareness.

Based on tons of info, my best guess is that the 'teens' were blocking the middle of the road, the cop had to inch through them, he yelled at them to move, they said no, he backed up to make it official, and at the same time his brain 'clicked' as he matched up the description of the QT perp and one of the teens in the road. That is IF he was involved in that call and it had come of the radio before or as the 'teens' blocked his route.

That part still seems to be in question(to the public. The officials already know).

What if ten of them came up and tried to grab you and your ‘buds’ guns ? What would you do then ?

Better yet, go with my original premise.

Let’s say that one unarmed guy walked up to you and your ‘buds’, asking an innocent question. Then he sucker punches you in the face and tries to grab your gun. Or he punches your friend in the face and in grabbing the gun, a shot goes off.

What happens then ?

Yet the result is the same.

At 18 years old, he may not have an adult criminal record. However, he may or may not have a juvenile criminal record that is a mile long.

P.S. It all doesn't make sense that they would walk down the middle of the street in front of a cop, taking such a risk after the robbery, UNLESS this isn't the first time that they tried to shoplift at that particular QT. Maybe it's just the first time it evolved to strong arm robbery/assault and they didn't believe the CLERKS would call police.

That was obvious from the fact that his 'homies' decided to seek revenge upon QT by looting and burning it to the ground, while painting SNITCHES GET STITCHES on the wall. It was a warning to them and all other businesses.

Even Mike's parents are saying that the fact he committed a robbery shouldn't matter, it's that somebody called the cops.

Immaterial to the point I’m making in this discussion about ONE COP and ONE PERP and deadly use of force.

You are asking a hypothetical that has no relevance to the point I made about shooting an unarmed perp and the law as it is applied to a citizen shooting an unarmed perp.

But let’s answer your hypothetical this way - if ten thugs from Obama’s Free Shit Army tried to wrest control of our weapons and they were shot in the struggle - it’s justified self defense. If after the struggle and they have none of our weapons, we run after them and shoot them while they were running away multiple times, we get charged with murder or manslaughter.

If there was a single gunshot in Brown’s case and he bled out on the street - the cop is justified. If the cop shot Brown while he was running away multiple times - then the cop should be charged.

Look at the street where this all happened — it’s pretty wide.

How dare you have an independent thought and bring this up. Now everyone will be searching for evidence of it (although legally it can be concealed from the public) on the internet.

You are interfering with the government/media plan to keep the public misled , distracted, and at each other's throats.

: )

I read last night that the ACLU has filed an FOIA for his juvenile record.

The store that got looted and burned wasn't the same store that they robbed. But I do think the cop surprised them, and they panicked and got stupid.

The bloodthirsty mob still demands blood. There’s a pretty good chance things will get hot again tonight.

That's very possible.

“And they’ll say the police planted the evidence.”

And the ‘they’ could very well include many FReepers, as well.

"For instance, how many gunshot wounds did Mike sustain ? Should be a very simple answer. The 'count' started at eight. It is now getting closer to 1."

------------------------->

An ME should be able to readily count the number of shots hitting Brown.

Was another officer also firing his gun at Brown. Or, any other crowd member or shopholders?

A choke hold would have had him out in 10-15 sec and he would have woke up handcuffed in the back of a patrol car.
