I’m just wondering who recruited all of those out-of-town rioters. The residents of Ferguson were all hunkered down.
BTW, it’s kind of difficult to “cook the books” and and turn a murder into petty theft..But yes, police chiefs all over play with the numbers when possible for their own personal benefit. They’re part of government after all.
I had no idea the rioters were all from outside of the St. Louis area...Must have been expensive flying and busing them all in.
Oh, and if the camo is free army surplus, I'd require the cops to sell it off and go back to something like light blue shirts and dark blue pants.

Feds seduce police with power and demoralize them by releasing criminals = brewed chaos. These are soviet tactics.
They’re only releasing them, Fed departments such as DHS are now escorting them in from foreign countries on planes and trains..

First, they just shot up a hostage with ten rounds. The excuse was the lack of training. If cops aren’t going to bother being proficient with the weapons they have, bigger and better guns will only increase the slaughter of innocents. They already have AR-15s. How much more firepower does a cop need on the streets of the US? M-249? They don’t need more penile extensions to increase their aggressiveness toward the public.
Second, LE is far too aggressive as is. They need to ratchet down this “I’m A Warrior” crap. They aren’t soldiers, they aren’t in Iraq, and we are citizens. They are not supposed to act like an occupying army. SWAT this, SWAT that. Grab bag of pot, Granny’s unsecured wi-fi, tea leaves in the trash, nonexistent drug labs, burn kids faces playing with toys they have no business using.
No. They can’t be trusted with the toys, and yes these are nothing but toys to them, that they already have. Cops can’t be trusted with it. What they need to spend the money on is technology to keep cops honest. Public trust in LE is dying fast, and FR is showing it.
There aren’t many fools left who actually trust in a cop’s integrity, or a department’s willingness to police their own.

How they present themselves is critical, and increasingly ignored. More and more, they want to cultivate bad ass images most associate with special forces and bouncers. Most cops, I’d never hire based on the image they want to present to the world.
They need to eliminate ALL the military crap, right down to rank designations. It is going to their heads. They want to play soldier? Join up and go to Afghanistan.
You are civilian LE, not Marines or SEALs.

That’s a very deceptive set of figures. You don’t show anything between 1961 and 2011 because crime figures went way up during that time and have been declining since the 90s.
Yep. They want to play army. It’s fairly safe for them to play army right now because they clearly have the advantage. Until the peasants learn how to fight them, and then the cops start getting their heads shot off and their legs blown off or totally burned to a crisp or kidnapped and tortured to death, and left hanging from a bridge by the balls. Then they’ll want Blackhawk helicopters, tanks that fire tank shells, 50 cal MGs and shoulder fired missles and all the trappings of urban warfare. This will only escalate violence on the street.
I’ve read the claim that all of the rioters were “from out of town” several times. I haven’t seen any data to back up the claim.
Ferguson is a small suburb of St Louis. It would seem natural that many protestors would come from other STL burbs and the city/county itself.
Now, it they were coming from Chicago, LA & NYC, I’d find that very fishy.
They’re creating a martial law scenario so you’re afraid to leave your home on election day to vote them out.
