I saw a story just this AM (unverified) that the sheriff released some info. If this is correct, the dead punk was in the process of assaulting the officer and attempted to disarm him. Apparently the officer has significant and noticeable injuries to his face.

Doesn’t matter if he had a broken arm..... the subject ran, the officer was no longer in physical danger. If the subject did turn and have his arms in the air & wasn’t advancing toward the officer and was unarmed, it’s homocide. The cop can’t just shoot him dead.
