Ebola outbreak: Kenya at high risk, warns WHO
BBC ^

The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified Kenya as a "high-risk" country for the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.

Kenya was vulnerable because it was a major transport hub, with many flights from West Africa, a WHO official said.

This is the most serious warning to date by the WHO that Ebola could spread to East Africa.

with many flights from West Africa

Those airports should have been closed a week ago.

Not so fast! Let’s send Obozo over there to assess the situation first hand.

One week at a minimum! More like a month.

I can only wonder what is going on in bush country. I suspect hundreds dead and being buried without authorities knowledge, as folks do not wish to be quarantined. This is Old Testament stuff I fear....

Things proceeding according to simulations mentioned by FR Jim Noble in previous posts. (See my tag line)

From article (excerpt)

....Health checks at the main airport in the capital, Nairobi, have been stepped up in recent weeks.

The Kenyan government said it would not ban flights from the four countries hit by Ebola.

Strict precautions must be observed when burying those who have died of Ebola
“We do not recommend ban of flights because of porous borders,” health cabinet secretary James Macharia said.

Kenya receives more than 70 flights a week from West Africa.

The West African regional body, Ecowas, said one of its officials, Jatto Asihu Abdulqudir, had died of Ebola in Nigeria.

The 36-year-old had been in contact with Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian government employee who was the first to be killed by the virus in Nigeria on 25 July, Ecowas said in a statement.

Mr Sawyer had flown in from Liberia, when he was diagnosed with Ebola after collapsing at the airport in Lagos, the biggest city in sub-Saharan Africa....

Yes, he should stay long enough to really “mull it over”, like he so often does when there are crises requiring immediate action.

Let one of his tribe catch it and we’ll never hear the end of it. Open the flood gates.

It sounds as if Jatto Asihu Abdulqudir was the person who has been described as Sawyer's assistant, who helped him off the plane.

http://dailypost.ng/2014/08/13/ebola-ecowas-staff-dies-lagos/

The statement reads below: “The ECOWAS Commission announces with deep regret the passing of a staff member of its Lagos Liaison Office, Mr. Jatto Asihu Abdulqudir, aged 36.

Mr. Abdulqudir, a Protocol Assistant, was among those who assisted the Liberian delegate to a regional meeting; Mr. Patrick Sawyer, who died from the Ebola Virus Disease at a Lagos hospital on 25th July 2014.

This will give obama the opportunity to bring all his relatives to the US for humanatarium reasons. A danger to leave them there.

Andrew Wilcow had a guest last week who laid out this scenario:

Virus terrorists.

1. Muslim(s) that have an appearance of being Hispanic and are proficient in Spanish and intentionally infected with Ebola virus.

2. Fly to Central and or South America.

3. Come up to the U.S. border by joining with the illegals flooding the border by routes taken by the illegals.

4. Be able to pass the initial screening, since these Muslims will have only had the virus before it becomes, (full-blown) and found by the initial health test at the border, if given.

5. Be taken by the Border Patrol to government receiving stations, where they will infect others and then be transported to locations throughout the U.S. courtesy of Obama to spread the virus nation-wide.

I was thinking the same thing. They wouldn’t even need to look like a Latin American or need to speak the language. Just walk right in and shake the hands and kiss the cheeks of every warm body you meet. I would rather strap a bomb to my chest and pull a trigger than get Ebola and die that way.

As one Freeper already posted, there’s no need for the infected to cross the border. Stationed along the key routes passing out candy or water bottles will do the trick.

On the darker side warfare uses the beliefs of opponents and innocents in aid. Again at key points station a few infected people garbed in robes with thorn crowns and bleeding eyes, aided by rumors of the Milagro de Sangre de Christo will have them on their knees waiting to touch his wounds and receive his blessing for the crossing to the promised land.

How many infected border jumpers do you think might get infected in, say a week or so?

To expand on my post:

The infected person does’t have to speak, indeed better he or she doesn’t. The whole thing hinges on the beliefs of the border jumpers. Think of Mexico’s Day of the Dead, the adoration of miracle Madonna statues weeping tears of some sort that draw hundreds of pilgrams. You think the border jumpers wouldn’t line up to touch the afflicted one in a Christ-like outfit and pose? To touch the miracle bloody tears for a blessing? And all on the Mex. Side of the border.

Two, three, or four from a group of b-j’s per day at a single point for 10 to 20 days before the crossers show symptoms on our side and you got yourself a nice small army of the walking dead, spreading some of that Obama Change.

Add keep in mind the first presenting symptoms are akin to malaria and other common Central and South American diseases.

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

I can’t find who that guest was on Wilcow. I
tried to come up with something the guest would have said.

He probably gave a scenario similar to both of yours.
