President Obama is more "forceful" and "stubborn" about playing golf than he is about pushing through his policy agenda. That was Dana Milbank's take on today's Morning Joe.
As Joe Scarborough described it, earlier this week the normally left-leaning Milbank enjoyed a "12-minute honeymoon" with conservatives after his Washington Post column called Obama's decision to go golfing while the world burned an example of "tone deafness" if not outright "stupid stuff." Milbank double downed on the notion today with his suggestion that the president cares more about making it to the first tee than enacting his policy positions. Milbank seemed frustrated with Obama's fecklessness. But if the president's love of the links keeps him from pushing his policies, conservatives should be saying "play on, Mr. President!"

He doesn’t give a damn about anything except playing as much as he can on our dime. He is a worthless lazy coward and lives up to his name as a communists black Muslim traitor. How could America not see this before the first term. And the second term, where in the hell was America. Romney would have made a far better President than this useless coward. Republicans were the most ignorant stupid fools to not vote for Romney. America just could not weight the difference and forget the black vote since color was the only issue.

Seriously. Assuming the world does not collapse and the mobs come after him, he can enjoy a future in luxury and golfing for many decades.
I think his agenda is on course regardless of what Milbank says. He has gotten everything he wanted. He does not have to run for reelection. He has most of the country so divided he can rest easy in the notion nothing is going to change soon. His only agenda item left is enshrinement on Rushmore. Hopefully in AF 1 at 575mph at 6000 feet.
