We told Comcast to cancel our cable and we’d keep the internet in the middle of July. We told the guy to cancel the cable at the end of the billing cycle which was July 27th. On that day I turned in all the remotes and boxes. Guess what. The cable hadn’t been stopped and I got a bill for the month of August. I wrote them a letter. No response. Today we called them and were told the cable was cancelled but “billing” wasn’t notified. They’ll do anything they can to keep you from cancelling. I’m now searching for an internet provider.
These damned crooks have bought way too many politicians and damn to hell the politicians who took their money.
What you do is start calling from your accounting division
, inform them that the monies cannot be paid as the service has been canceled (and that you have confirmation of this, that processing the invalid bill will cost them (be sure to provide a receipt; remember that your time and energy are worth money, go for a $500 processing fee), and that continuance of billing will be forwarded to your legal division
.
Before you decide, do your research on line.
Find user comments, NOT at the providers' web sites, though.
For me, I'll just say I hated the "hopper."
