"It's a great decision," Taylor said. "It shouldn't be rare. It should be as common as possible." She makes a very compelling argument for abortion. Too bad her mother didn't have one.

"Im OK with birth control. But when it comes to abortion, that is where I draw the line..." I used tofeel the same way. Forty + years ago, it made perfect sense to me: the more conrtaception, the less abortion.
Fourty + years' experience has taught me something, though. It's that contraceptive-acceptance is the larval stage of abortion-acceptance. With the single exception of the Soviet Union, in every other country on earth, contraceptive acceptance preceded and triggered abortion-acceptance, and contraception and abortion go up in tandem. Also on the upward curve: STD's. Also on the upward curve: non-marital childbearing.
And at the same time, what's crashing: marriage and birth in wedlock.
I used to say, "If abotion is the fire, contraception is the water.
I now say, with vastly more evidence: "If abortion is the fire, contraception is the gasoline."

The only acceptable reason for abortion is if genetic testing indicates that the offspring is a progressive. If someday a "gay gene" is discovered and mothers start aborting babies because they have it, liberals' heads will literally explode.

I understand what you are saying, but the truth is that abortion and contraception go had in glove with one another.
Once we divorced procreation from the sexual act, we opened the door to serial divorce, unwed mothers, and the legitimacy of abortion because one never really wanted to get pregnant anyway. A large percentage of abortions are because contraception failed.

My wife’s water broke at 15 weeks. My little girl was born at 33 weeks. We had an ultrasound of her at 15 weeks, and you can recognize the face.
It’s a baby.
My little girl is doing well BTW. Came home two weeks ago.

There is nothing wrong with abortion, Taylor says. Fetuses are not babies.Oddly, these same people would scream at the top of their lungs if someone aborted some 'puppies' claiming it was OK because they aren't 'dogs'.

Yeah, it would have been even better if her MOM had not lived in a time when it was ‘rare’.

Perhaps Im overly hung up on semantics, the actual, objective meanings of words. You mean like using the words PLANNED PARENTHOOD on the banner of abortion clinics for the immature and irresponsible ?

I applaud her honesty. She is only saying what a lot of her ilk think but would never utter publicly.

THE STATE OF THE NATION:
Female-1: Did you see on the news where Muslims were cutting people's heads off ?
Female-2: No. I didn't have time to watch it. I had to go to the abortion clinic and have the doctor rip the fetus out of my womb and cut it's head off.

Abortion is not murder," Taylor said on the YouTube station Acronym TV. "It's a perfectly responsible choice for a women to make if you are pregnant and don't want to have a child Sounds to me like she's struggling to convince herself of that...
