I never got this. School lunches consisted of a sandwich, fruit, drink and 2 cookies for years. How they evolved is unknown. But the real problem is no exercise. Schools have eliminated much of the activities that burn off calories. Bring those back and problem solves
Again, schools eliminate those programs due to hiring less PE teachers and afraid of kids injuries resulting from play.
Haven't you heard? Serving sandwiches is racist because all the poor immigrant kids come from countries where they don't eat sandwiches.
