Dr Kevin De Cock, of the US Centre for Disease Control, says the situation in Liberia is "extremely severe" The scale of the west African Ebola outbreak in Liberia is completely overwhelming the capacity of specialist isolation units that treat victims, a senior US health official assessing the crisis has warned. De Kevin De Cock, the director for global health at America's Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, said one of the countrys two main treatment clinics, in Lofa County, currently had 80 patients in a 20-bed unit...

Shut down the borders of those countries. No one in, no one out until it’s over.
In Africa it is much more effective to teach people about the disease, explain how it is transmitted by contact with bodily secretions and demonstrate basic hygiene if you wish to halt an endemic outbreak. The treatment of infected people in a hospital saves very few compared to what good preventive measures would do if implemented in the community. Those silly masks are useless.
Isolation units? Just cough in your sleeve. #OBAMAADMINISTRATIONCARESABOUTYOU
Illegal Immigrants Bring Risk of Ebola and Global Array of Viral Illnesses

Ebola. Chikungunya. Dengue. Norovirus. Hantavirus. Swine flu. Varicella. Variola. The names sound like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. Yet, threats to Americans are real, and escalating by the week. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported on August 1 that serious diseases are spreading at detention centers for Illegal border crossers.
Health care workers and Border Patrol agents, plus their children, have tested positive for tuberculosis (TB), swine flu, chicken pox, lice and scabies. Instead of being quarantined, illegal border crossers are being dispersed rapidly across the U.S., with those of school age being registered in public schools opening soon for all. NOT TO MENTION E-COLI CONTAGION Central American students have very, very limited education...some cannot count to 10. Theyve never even seen a computer, said assistant director for student support in Dalton, Ga.
Forget computers. Do the stupid leeches know what to do with this (/snix)?
Observing the "unaccompanied minors" riding atop speeding freight trains 1700 miles---one can only conjecture on their personal hygiene. No running water or flush toilets atop that train. How did they handle body wastes? How will they handle this in US schools?
Americans need to know about possible infections from migrants shopping in retail stores, eating in their restaurants, shopping in supermakets...... handling food and merchandise. The deadly E-coli is passed through unclean hands from improper bathroom habits. E- coli has been found on the handles of supermarket carts. Not to mention contamination on school buses, school facilities, school supplies, books......and public buses that transported them....and so on. Mexican restaurants, fast food hamburger joints, supermarkets, retail stores, etc.....
Tell the doctors not to go out in public in their scrubs after they have seen patients with communicable diseases.
Ebola ping.
To all:
Read the whole article to understand why this Ebola outbreak is very different from previous ones and as a result more deadly and dangerous. It is killing health workers in unprecedented numbers.
Prayers up for the fallen who answered the call with a servant’s heart in the face of an invisible deadly and implacable foe.
If things were allowed to happen naturally, the epidemic would eventually CULL the weakest.
Nothing new here for that part of the world.
Revelation 6:8
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
They WANT to live.
They throw their sh@t paper on the ground and toss their dirty diapers out the windows. Filthy animals without even the decency to burn them. Go to a illegal filled apt complex and you will notice two things, barely supervised children and sh@t paper everywhere
We’re being set up.
Sick animals in some of the world’s finest hothouses for disease: heat, humidity, with a population of people MOST uneducated and unhealthy. WHAT a dim future they have.
Sounds like US of A
"Health care settings have played an important part in amplifying the epidemic, from the public to the health workers and the other way around," he said. "It is also a tragedy for the health workers themselves, between 70 and 80 of whom have died.
Many are illiterate. Cannot read or white. The custom is to wash and kiss the dead body. Problem is, just after death is when they are very contagious.
When I hear the word `ebola` I can help but think of the Ricola commercial with that Swiss guy singing in the Alps: "Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa"
Sobering.
Well, I THINK that our future is a WHOLE lot better than MANY other places.
Third world countries don't allow the spouting off that is allowed here. We take it for granted. We take our freedoms for granted: free travel, expression, banking and such.
We traveled extensively in third world sewers countries and I know, for a fact, that we are the very, very, very BEST country on the planet.
Don't believe me? Travel, my friend, and see how those third world sewers countries live. We lived in the middle east for FIVE years and I know what I'm talking about.
I love this site because it IS full of belly-aching folks. I see our freedoms IN ACTION with every moan, groan, gripe, snide remark and complaint against...oh any/everything.
THAT in itself is reason enough to support the Robinsons.
