Unrest has broken out for a second night in a St. Louis suburb where a young unarmed black man was fatally shot by police.
Authorities blocked off access to Ferguson on Monday night and KTVI-TV reported that police in riot gear were using tear gas to disperse a crowd of protesters. It said there were reports of rubber bullets being fired. KMOV-TV said the tear gas was being fired at people gathering near a major intersection.
This as Attorney General Eric Holder announced he was ordering Federal "monitoring" of the events in Ferguson.

Meanwhile 2-4 dozen young black men will be shot by other black men in Chicago in the next seven days.

This has to win an award for the stupidest politically correct sentence ever written.
1. It is not “unrest”. It is violent vicious criminals burning down and looting stores, stealing ATM machines throwing bricks and bottles at cars and threatening to kill innocent people.
2. Unrest doesn’t “break out”. This is a failure to use the English language correctly because correct words must be replaced by a vague, incoherent phrase.
3. The use of the excuse of the death of a young man to loot stores sometimes miles away from where he lived is reprehensible. Criminal activity is common in this area. This is just a slightly higher level of violent crime. The implication is that somehow the store owners and innocent bystanders participated in the death of the young man. That could not be more stupid. But it is necessary to pretend that the looters and rioters are not at fault, the store owners and other victims are.
This is good; it destroys the myth that our token president has done a damn thing to improve anyone’s lot, especially that of the unassimilated permanent underclass.
Blacks I work with are (like whites) much worse off since Obama took office; this advertises that to the world.
