Police are turning people away. No one is allowed into the Galleria. KMOV reported:
Officers with the Richmond Heights Police Department responded to the St. Louis Galleria Monday evening. The Galleria has closed.
It’s unclear why they’re responding, other than a report of “multiple incidents” inside the mall. Brentwood Police also responded.
Several stores were evacuated shortly after 6:00.
Nordstrom and Macy’s have closed their gates and confirm a lockdown.

Sorry to say I just noticed some fine print about radio traffic related to Ferguson problems are being suppressed.

Some crime stories here omit the race of the perp - even in the face of risking safety of the community. “A tall male fled the scene armed and dangerous”... and no race in the description.
The perp is described when it is “whitey”. Otherwise, no mention.

Report from Fox 2 news is that they’re telling people to get into their houses for their safety, and seem to be focusing their focus on a single house. Police have guns drawn and and are putting on gas masks. Seem to be communicating with people in the house and helicopter over the house.
