Do not notify the principal, do not notify the school, and do not let anyone from the school administration have any information about where the money being donated is coming from. I say this is good. Possibly it will teach kids and parents alike responsibility. I will bring my own lunch thank you very much! All this began with the advent of the school bus picking up the kids FOR FREE! Now it is school at 4 years on up with meals provided. I hope the revolt is overwhelming.
What you are both saying is interesting. However what I take away from your comments and those of others is that we all need to think of ways of being passive/aggressive in our dealings with the bureaucrats in Government.
Also I would like to point out that the advent of the national 55 MPH also brought about the flaunting of many other ‘Laws’ as idiotic or stupid. Today we are seeing the results of that flaunting of the law. As a whole we are a more lawless Nation as compared to how we behaved prior to that silly Law.
As I was told in the military in one of the many schools I attended. Never, ever give an order that you know won’t be obeyed. It lessons your authority and the respect your men have for you in the long run.
