You’re thinking like a 6-year-old. I have blacks and Hispanics in my white family and there’s no reason to think controlling immigration or supplanting immigrants’ culture is something to be ashamed of. It’s about infrastructure (hello... city planning and all that silly stuff) and integration. Integration is obviously important if you want to maintain American culture, and American culture is what keeps us all relatively prosperous, not anyone else’s. If you think other cultures are just as good as ours, perhaps you SHOULD move yourself and your family to another country and see how much “better” it is.
No, I’m just pointing out that before the left insisted in apartheid, which is forcing each culture to continue in the ways of the countries they fled, that most ethnics were proud to become Americans.
And now the left assume Central Americans won’t assimilate but become Mexicans who let left wing actvists rule them. Yet 30 percent will intermarry, and 20 percent will join Evangelical churches.
So why insist America can only survive if we look like each other?
