The situation has escalated in Ferguson, Missouri where people have been protesting the police shooting of the unarmed Michael Brown on Saturday night.
This town just North of St. Louis has become a powder keg, starting when the crowd started hurling bottles at a police line they had faced off with earlier tonight.
And now hundreds of idiots, who seem to be a majority in this crowd, have started looting nearly every single business in town.
Don't these people realize they have to wake up to this tomorrow morning? Just insanity.

Methinks this kind of uncivilized behavior might contribute to the situations they often find themselves in, such as this one, and to negative attitudes directed at them.

The side bar comments on your news link are a real eye-opener. Even in the days of the of the MLK memorial riots did I hear such racism expressed in private much less so openly as there. It seems that them Yankees are into that stuff big time.

And why doesn’t that store have a cage to keep the animals out? So many inner city stores do have them for security. That is just another hidden expense we incur because of the “Amish.”
And nobody is blaming the cops for this mess? Mean, obnoxious steroid junkie cops go into white neighborhoods and shoot people’s dogs for no reason all the time, and they get away with it because the people just lie down and take it. So they decide to take it a step farther, just to see how you will react. And you say “it’s just happening to inner-city blacks, so who cares?” Which is exactly how they want you to feel about it. By the time they start gunning down your lily-white children, it’ll be too late for you to do anything about it. Because you were complacent. It didn’t concern you. I don’t know about you, but I am really, really pi$$ed.

Also I noticed that both the reporter and a member of the protest keep calling the planned candlelight ceremony a ‘vidjual’.

Exactly why I’ve already bugged out of the big city. I would say that these looters could all go to Hell were they not already engineering it for themselves.

The story I heard earlier on the radio was that the yoot attacked the cop and was going for the gun.
