Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

Is it any wonder why law abiding citizens want to be armed?...Sheesh....when will blacks understand that this doesn’t help their cause....but then I no longer believe they have one after this....and the Travon Martin thing. I really don’t care what happens to them anymore.

Covering these riots live for all to see doesn’t fit a Democrat Narrative, and could in fact be harmful to Democrats.

Agree. The stories tomorrow will focus on the black criminal/victim that started it all and mention the riots as an aside.
The problem is that with social media and the ‘balkanization’ of the press, tough for them to keep a lid on what’s really going on. The networks becomes increasingly irrelevant.

That’s a little south of Ferguson, but not out of range of the looters.
Cabela’s has enough firearms and ammo to have a small war, at least.
If you’re trying to win public sympathy, don’t start a riot. This behavior makes them out to be the idiots they keep saying they’re not.
It’ll get bigger and bigger until the national guard is called in by the Governor there. But that’s always dangerous as they just might open fire.
The other risk is that some violent groups will use the chaos to start something bigger (KKK or Black Muslims or real Muslims).

Yes & No - Clayton is a good place to live. It is about 15 minutes from Clayton but St. Louis County is MASSIVE. (these little towns are part of St. Louis County)

The Looters seem to be going after guns, cell phones, booze, and Air Jordan’s. You know, all of those things the black community needs so badly, because whitey is keeping them down...

Why is it that the police do not have a contingency plan for a riot like this that they would protect places where these ferals can raid for weaponry? Maybe they should read the tweets and get to the pawn shops, sporting goods stores and pilice stations (*duh!) before the looters.
Any time you get hundreds of blacks together (or any race for that matter) there’s a risk of a riot.
Get them mad about something or drunk and it’s 50/50.
Look at NBA championship wins or losses, the Rodney King riots, MLK riots. Groups of people have a hive mind and it’s fairly base. Look at the public stonings in Syria yesterday.
