George Will must have a deaf ear to the “Alarm Bells” we on the right have been ringing since 2007. Much of what Obama is doing or trying to do now, was clearly forcast by him on many filmed interviews. Too many votes only saw and heard what they wished to acknowledge, and though Obama ‘was not really serious’ about the other matters. “Your energy bills will skyrocket” is but one time he was telling everyone who he really is.
Another one: capital gains taxes should be raised despite the fact that it decreases government revenues out of “fairness”.
That ridiculous remark should have gotten him thrown off the stage alone. Fairness, indeed! But, again, he was actually being very honest about the way he sees the world.
And George Will is a doddering old man.
Zeriously, who reads this guy’s pedantic drivel anymore?
Yea, right on. Typical leftist “shock”. “I can’t believe my hero is a moron empty suit. Someone save me! How could someone so smart (like all leftists are you know) have missed this? Oh, he’s such a disappointment.” I think I feel a cry baby tear welling up in my eye for poor George - NOT! Not to worry. They”ll all fall just as hard for the next idiot moon beam, of course.
I do.
So do I. The man is brilliant. He’s not always right but he always has something insightful to say.
Will makes some good points but I can hardly bear listening to him.
Will occasionally visits reality...
Me too. The “all or nothing at all” (not Sinatra’a) mindset prevents, for me, acquiring knowledge. Who do we find total agreement with? But many, in the world of science, philosophy, literature, history, political commentary, on and on, illuminate some things we gain much from.
So, you’re the one?
I am supremely confident that his readership exceeds, say, yours.
And his I.Q. exceeds yours.
Now what?
I guess we can talk about whether or not there is a more awkward or flatulent phrase than “pedantic drivel”.
I’m thinking not.
Like continuing a word fight when you’ve run out of ammunition?
You sure took it something personal that wasn’t originally directed at you. Which is weird because you don’t know George personally.
Reminds of people who get so upset if you say anything about Rosie O’Donnell or Oprah....
I simply said I read george will. the knotting of the knickers occurred on your side of al gore’s internets.
Knickers? Hey, thatz racsist in some corners...or English, making it highly irrelevant.
George Will the atheist finally awakens to one truth.
